Whoo.. Movies. A topic that will stand out from the rest, dont know why our teacher told us to make this post. But anyway a post is a post.

Watching Movies had been a hobby of many teenagers, but I dont really watch movies in Movie houses, like in theaters in malls, except when I have a plan with my friends or just when my family wants to watch films.

BEST MOVIE

I have a lot of movies which I like and I consider best. Some movies that I like is because of the special effects, some because of the plot and twists. But what I will post is the movie which I liked and I just recently watched, just about 3 hours ago.

Sky High, a superhero Movie made by Walt Disney. It is combined with amazing special effects, a well-made plot and a very twisting twist. This movie was just shown recently as the special Disney movie on Disney channel.

Sky High is the story of fourteen-year-old William Stronghold, the son of two famous superheroes: the incredibly strong, nearly-invulnerable Commander and the super fast flying Jetstream. He and his best friend Layla are facing their first day of high school, which is even more daunting for Will since he will attend his parents’ alma mater, a school for superheroes called Sky High. When it turns out that Will does not have any superpowers, he is relegated to the school’s "sidekick program" (or, as it is called, "Hero Support").

The sidekicks dodge taunts and jeers by their "hero" colleagues. Matters worsen when Will accidentally bumps into pyrokinetic Warren Peace , whose villain father was imprisoned by the Commander ("quadruple life sentence, no hope of parole till after his third life"). When the two fight, Will suddenly gains his dad’s super strength and is promoted to hero class. He catches the eye of seductive Gwen Grayson, who persuades him to throw a party in his parents’ house, which she uses as a distraction to have Speed steal the Commanders most prized possession, Royal Pain’s Pacifier.

When homecoming night arrives, Gwen reveals that she is Royal Pain, Will’s parents’ nemesis. She then uses the Pacifier to turn everyone into babies. Will, Layla, Warren and the sidekicks save the day and revert them into their normal ages. In the end, Layla and Will hook up, and Warren becomes his best friend.

I liked this movie not just because of the whole superhero thing and cool special effects. But because it shows the life of being a student with lots of pop quizzes and assignments and even peer pressure. It shows how you will feel if your parents are expecting so much from you eventhough you don’t really have the thing they are expecting you.

WORST MOVIE

Now, I really had so many movies which I really considered bad. Movies that has bad endings, bad plots, no twists, ugly actors and actresses and no background songs. Movies such as Il Mare.

Il Mare, means The Sea in Italian. Il Mare is a korean movie, in which the girl that played the part is Jhun Ji Hyun, the girl from the My Sassy Girl Movie. After months of research, I found out that Il Mare was her first movie, so I search for the movie and found out that my mom had it. So I watched it and I was quite dissapointed of the story.

Il Mare was a mellodrama and I was having a hard time trying to get the story. It was because of a mailbox that transports letters and items 2 years ago and vice versa. It didnt have a well made plot and the twist was quite hard to understand. This was quite a movie, and it is also quite weird. They talk about things from two years past, the girl is at year 2000 while the boy was at year 1998. Weird.

Internet, as my stored knowledge is giving me information correctly, it was made in 1986 during the cold war of the United States of America and Russia, both the superpowers of the world from that time. It was made for the United States of America to give out information from one base to another, Spy Vs Spy, The power of Espionage.

But this Espionage technology was given out the public after the cold war. Even from that time on, it still serves out its duty of giving Information but not only about the cold war but about many things.

Internet nowadays serves as online, always updated Encyclopedia, which makes the encyclopedia books obsolete. Where will you make your research? From a Encyclopedia in the University library that was released in the year 2002 or Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia which contains almost everything from History to Pop Music stars of today, and is always updated.

Internet is Information SuperHighway because it is where Information is being passed on. A highway of information, because you can have any information you want by just using search engines like Google or Yahoo, by just typing the things that you need after how many seconds or minutes (if you have slow internet connection), you will get the information you want.

Information on the Internet is just a vast field of words and numbers combined together to create informative information. Informations from American Presidents to Asian Presidents to Pop and Rock Stars to Movies of the 50’s to TV Series of the new millenium to the blog of your teacher in Computer Programming 2 to your school’s website.

Internet is truly an Information SuperHighway.

Sweet. Almost Valentines day, and I have to post a Love post. Ew. Joke.

Anyway, I have to talk about my special act of Love. Act of love? to whom? about what? love, whats that? Love?

Love, such a small four-letter word with such a very vast meaning. Love can change ones personality in just a matter of moments. Love is a word that can change your life from single to taken. Love is like a bubble gum. Love is a word functioning as a noun, but can still function as a verb depending on the sentence where it is used. Love is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it eludes you, but just set it free and it will go to you.

Vast meanings of love. But not so many special acts of it. My special acts of love will be towards Family, Friend, Items and Education.

My special act of Love to my family is that I love them so much. I will be there for them, and trying my best not to disobey them, but sometimes I do and then again, I learn from experience. I love my family as much as they love me. How do I know they love me? Its just that I have a very early curfew, I can’t usually go out from our house on saturdays, not like the usual rules from my friends family that they can go out freely and go home no matter what time. So, that means that my family wants me to be safe, which is an act of love from them.

My special act of Love to my friends is that I am here for them. I know that I can’t always be there for them, but I try to be. I am always a text away from them, I still even see most of my High School friends and still care for them. Some of my friends go to me when they feel down, as an act of love and care to them, even just a hug will help them ease the pain that they feel, and even giving a little advice (but not always). I am also a keeper of secrets from friends who consider me their true friend and also me to them, I show an act of love through not telling their secrets like the one about <censored>.

My special act of love to my items is that I care for them, and will keep them upto their very last breath..um.. something like that. I even cared for one toy which I still have kept from my younger years, it was my White Power Ranger Morphing-Action Action Figure, it was a gift from my parents and both me and my bestfriend in elementary had one, my other best friend had the green one, just to stand out.

My special act of love to my education is that I study, not always, but I still study and do my best to get high grades and get a scholarship. Thats it.

I think many people will agree with me when I say, Its harder to say something about yourself than to say something to other people. Yeah, we can say some stuff to other people, bad or good, but to ourselves,? its quite difficult. But hey? A post is a post, and If I wont post a post with a post topic of "Me, Myself and I" then Me, Myself and I will have a woophing 0 or a 50% in one quiz.

Me, Myself and I. I am myself, myself is me, I am me. Get it? Fine.

I am Jopal Matthew Dumanig, an average filipino student that passes an average life of an average human being, who am I to kid? I am still who you think might be. A student who still have issues on passing a course, getting a diploma, landing a good work and living with a complete family. Well, that is I.

Me, is a simple person who loves to eat any stuff that will be pleasant to the eyes and stomach. I cant turn down a treat, whether to eat or just hang out. I am an oldies music lover, mainly on oldies singing groups like Cascades, Bread, Air Supply, David Pomeranz and much more, though still I like the music of today, but we all know that one popular song of today will become a song that will be merely played twice on a readio station. I also love reading books, mainly fictional ones, like the Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Goosebumps, Dan Brown books and quite more. I also like watching television, mainly fun sitcoms that is shown in Disney Channel, like That’s so Raven, Hannah Montana, Lizzie Maguire, Phil of the Future and, again, still much more. Did I mention, I still like Power Rangers until now? Eventhough it is not anymore showing in the Philippines, I still am researching about the recent episodes on YouTube and RangerCentral. That’s Me.

Myself is quite serious. I am quite a friendly person, I usually just talk to person whom I want to befriend with, and I quite get a friendly talk with that person. But, eventhough, I have many friends, I was quite disturbed from a test on one psychology teacher, who was my Values Education teacher on my High School Years. The test said that I was a "Loner", from that time on, I really wanted to contradict that test, and won myself with friends, some loyal, some come and go.

Who would know? Me, Myself and I are just one person, and he is called "Jopal", a Pastor’s kid, who really is God-fearing and loves his family so much. Eventhough, he sometimes disobeyes his parents, they still love him and vice versa.

Jopal is just a simple kid, living a simple life.
